The end of January is nearly upon us which has made me feel reflective. A busy long month but with a sense of clam after the festive madness. As January’s end was coming up it has made me look back over 2018, what I had achieved, places I had been to, people who I have met and the work I have created. So I thought I would share this with you guys.
I think the biggest thing for me during 2018 was meeting a new creative who has turned into a dear friend. I love meeting new people to work with and meeting Zeb from Zebra Finch Hair has been awesome. During last year we have created so many epic fashion stories together and 2019 is looking for and even better!
The summer of 2018 was just magical. Here in Cornwall we had the best weather and that meant I could create lots out on location. A photo shoot that I loved during the summer was this festival fashion story.
I also had a fashion editorial published and we even got front cover!
Travelling to Portugal with my little family was just the best break. So many colours and full of inspiration for me.
Creating image banks of visual content for new clients has been incredible I get so excited about doing this type of work because it’s true storytelling.
Becoming God parents was a delight! This tiny bundle of joy is just adorable.
I was lucky enough to create some really epic bridal editorials through 2018.
One of my biggest highlights was started working on a cook book with a friend of mine. Watch her cook and capturing her magic has just been the best. A real tick off on my bucket list and I can’t wait for more of this during 2019.
Here are just a few of my favourite fashion story moments.
I had the pleasure of photographing a lot of weddings and elopements and met so many lovely bride and grooms, here are just a few.
